Die Serie „I Marvel At Your Forgetfulness“ spricht auf spielerische Weise den Austausch zwischen den zwei Persönlichkeiten, die in jedem von uns stecken an. - die des Performers und die des stillen Beobachters. In diesem speziellen Verhältnis kämpft, ähnlich wie in einer Liebesbeziehung, die eine Seite um die Aufmerksamkeit der anderen.

Drawing joy even from each other’s forgetfulness in love, devoted to each other and yet deriving much pleasure by teasing the other – the title is suggestive of a very intimate yet complex relationship we share with ourselves. Spaces that occupy our breath, memory, dream; form our constant companions but are rarely given the nourishment of our attention. The works in this show are a gentle push towards making a journey into these lapsed spaces that also contribute towards the entirety of all that one is. A journey that must necessarily be made in the companionship of the person that one supposes himself to be.

Sakshi Gupta absolvierte mehrere Workshops und Artist-in-Residence Programme u.a.: 2011 das „Civitella Ranieri Fellowship“ in Umbrien, Italien und das AiR Programm der Krinzinger Projekten in Wien 2008. 2011 wurde ihr der „Illy Sustain Art Prize“ verliehen.
