Over 2,000 works from various countries in Asia, spanning from the 4th millennium BCE to the 20th century CE, narrate five distinct journeys across five cultural areas: South Asia, China, Japan, the Himalayan region, and the Islamic countries of Asia. Ancient and little-known cultures are brought closer to the public as the MAO invites visitors on a fascinating journey of exchange, discovery, and knowledge.
