Bitfactory Gallery is pleased to announce a special exhibit called Taking Chances by the Pastel Society of Colorado (PSC). Signature and Master Signature member artists were invited to embark on a personal visual exploration of a subject, place or an approach to the medium of pastel and that demonstrates their ability to take risks and break the bounds of their comfort zone. The show is on view in the gallery at 851 Santa Fe Drive from November 20 until January 14 of next year during regular business hours Thursday through Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and by appointment. Due to Covid restrictions, no reception is scheduled. Visitors are required to wear masks.
A Signature member of PSC is an artist in good standing whose award-winning skills, nationally accepted experience, service to PSC as a board member, exhibition or committee chair, and creative vision is such that their pastel work could represent the organization. Master Signature status is the next step, awarded based on additional acceptance and awards in National or International shows, and additional service to PSC.
The artists showcased in this exhibit are Roger Ambrosier, Barbara Churchley, Diane Edwards, Susan Foster, Lisa Hale, Shelley, Howard, Janet Larsen, Sandy Marvin, Susan McKelvy, Norbert Nagel, Mike Ray, Xenia Sease, Karen Spotts, Sarah St. George, Jeannette Stutzman, Virginia Unseld, Wayne Vigil and Nancy Wylie.
