Fresh Window Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Iranian-American artist Golnar Adili entitled Domestic Poetic.

This exhibition focuses on Adili’s process of deconstructing and reconstructing various mixed media bodies of work ranging from book arts to ceramics referencing the body, Persian poetry and the domestic realm. While Adili's work evokes constraints both imposed in its making process and the content it explores it simultaneously provides a sense of inner freedom.

Adili continues to mine her late father's archive of photos, letters and documents and to embed this material within other forms creating a center piece in the middle of the gallery referencing the dining table. The many layers created through her process offer beauty, vulnerability, tranquility and pain to interact leaving the viewer full of emotion and acceptance.
