The exhibition is devoted to Hellenistic art originated as a result of Alexander the Great’s campaign in the late 4th century B.C. The sculptures on display are mainly the Roman copies of the Hellenistic originals. A separate section is devoted to the Classical terracotta plastic art of the 4th -3rd centuries B.C.
Among the exhibits is the statuette of Aphrodite playing with Eros as well as the graceful figurines created in the town of Tanagra in Boeotia.
