"Art Deco" was an extremely innovative style covering all areas of applied art; it flourished between 1920 and 1940 in a multifaceted form language ranging from luxury ornamentation and material to simple and clear modernity.
For the first time, an exhibition will feature the specific characteristics of Art Deco in Luxembourg with a focus on imaginative ceramics, innovative furniture and a modern form of metalworking.
Drawings and photographs of local interiors, never shown before, will round off the picture of Art Deco in Luxembourg.
