In the 17th century the northwest protective tower of the castle was altered into a chapel. It was renovated in 1985 and a collection of baroque art from church St. George in Škale was exhibited.
The church was destroyed in the middle of the 20th century due to the excavation of coal and the sinking grounds.
Exhibited statues from this church are made by Ferdinand Gall, the painting of Janez Nepomuk is made by Janez Andrej Strauss.
