For the first time in Russia the rare collection of Lamborghini supercar models will be displayed in the museum space. The cars worth millions of Euros become the perfect illustration to the detailed story of the legendary Italian brand.
Lamborghini design can be fairly considered the outstanding heritage of Italian contemporary art. The retro cars, along with the generally recognized paintings and sculptures, are now highly valued both in terms of money and in terms of contribution to the world culture.
The show features several models — iconic and modern. Among them there is Lamborghini Miura that took part in the historical project The Racing Car: Toward a Rational Automobile by New York's MoMA, one of the world’s leading contemporary art museums, in 1966. Lamborghini 400GT, the company’s early production car, made a real breakthrough in the market of expensive cars by combining high dynamic characteristics, elegant design and powerful engine.
The gorgeous Lamborghini Diablo became the first car of the brand that appeared on the Russian market in the 1990s.
Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo is one of the most extreme racing supercars, certified not only for race tracks, but also for public roads.
The exhibition lineup also features Lamborghini Centenario, super car released in a limited edition of 40 copies as a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the brand. This car is a real diamond of the exhibition, one of the most exclusive models in the world. In Russia it for the first time will appear at Erarta Museum.
The viewers also will see numerous collector models at 1:4 scale, for example, Lamborghini Aventador is one of today’s most common brand’s cars: its patrol version is used by the Dubai police.
Besides the “main heroes” — the super cars — the show reflects the vision of automotive designer Marcello Gandini and the creative path of the brand founder — Ferruccio Lamborghini. The visitors will see numerous photos, sketches, design projects, vintage advertising posters, themed paintings, and videos. All this clearly demonstrates how the art of creating speed cars has started the chain reaction, spreading the influence of mechanical beauty on different aspects of our life.
All the unique exhibits and legendary Lamborghini cars will be exhibited at the Erarta new exhibition space, which official inauguration will coincide with the exhibition opening night.
