Denver artists and identical twins Charly Fasano and Vincent Cheap Fasano are excited to announce the exhibition of a collection of their paintings and illustrations called “Tales of Any Every” at the Bitfactory Gallery (851 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO) beginning on First Friday, November 3, 2017 from 6 pm to 10 pm. “Tales of Any Every” is a multimedia collaboration of short films, music, poetry and paintings created by the Fasano twins. Installments of the project will roll out in a series of short films, art shows, poetry performances, books and records. Any Every is a small world trapped in the twin’s brains which incorporates a joint aesthetic based on personal experiences and observations of everyday life in Denver, Colorado. Any Every is an evolving cast of characters with skewed and selective memories of old, down and brown Denver. Any Every is a tribute to people stuck in old habits surrounded by cranes building a new city. Any Every is a place where characters are caged by progress in an evolving city they refuse to leave.
The first episode of “Tales of Any Every” is a short animated film built by Charly Fasano accompanied by a soundtrack by Vincent Cheap.
On Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6 pm to 10 pm the Bitfactory Gallery will host a special artist reception event where the Fasanos will screen a handful of short films and perform a live rendition of their new poetry EP called Tales of Any Every: Dead Granny’s Reading Glasses. The screening and performance will begin at 8 pm. The event is free and open to art fans of all ages.
