Accidental Happiness is an installation of works that stem from technical left-brain moments during his furniture making process. Intrigued by the cast-offs and test pieces produced during design and fabrication, this body of work creates a dialogue between the artist’s varying creative practices.

Pulling from the artist’s architectural education, these works fuse Ritter’s art forms together in an exploration of material, space, and form.

Scaleless, the drawings simultaneously illicit preliminary plans for entire buildings as well as studies for furniture and handheld objects.
