Open Mind Art Space is pleased to present its "1st Annual Anniversary Exhibition", featuring popular and new works by artists that have exhibited their work at the gallery since its grand opening. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 25th from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The exhibition will be on view from Saturday, January 25th through Friday, March 24th, 2017.

Open Mind Art Space’s "1st Annual Anniversary Exhibition" honors all the artists who contributed to the gallery’s programming in its first year of operation. The exhibition will feature works by the following participating artists: Kristen Dikio, Ashley Mistriel, Theresa Knopf, Archi Prudencio, Lauren Cetnarowski, Olivia D’Orazi, Benjamin Lowder, Arianna Sturr, and Leah Pantéa. Benjamin Lowder will bring back one of his iconic totem pieces Kether, Chokmah and Binah, and Olivia D’Orazi will be showing more of her psychedelic floral prints. Theresa Knopf’s most recent gouache and fabric assemblages, and Kristen Dikio’s latest interactive installations will also be among the many works on display.

Each year, Open Mind Art Space will maintain a tradition of curating an Annual Anniversary Exhibition to celebrate its anniversary and provide an opportunity for its artists to bring back viewer favorites or exhibit their newest creations. Open Mind Art Space looks forward to continuing to showcase contemporary art from a diverse blend of talented emerging artists, and facilitating a curatorial process that allows its artists to create impactful work, while furthering its mission to inspire and challenge the local Los Angeles community by providing a comfortable, engaging space for reflection and dialogue.
