Paul Kasmin Gallery is pleased to announce its return to The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF) in Maastricht, Netherlands from March 13 – 22, 2015. The gallery’s presentation will include a comprehensive booth design by gallery artist Mattia Bonetti, as well as the debut of eight limited edition works by the renowned Swiss-born, Paris-based designer.
“I look forward to continuing my collaboration with Paul Kasmin Gallery at TEFAF this year,” says Bonetti, “and I am especially proud to be exhibited alongside these masterpieces and within the context of such an important fair.” Bonetti-designed works include his new Clouds Coffee Table 1 (2015); Clouds Console (2015); Side Table “Club 7” (2014); as well as two Arm Chairs and a Floor Lamp from the artist’s iconic “Meander” series.
Exhibited alongside the Bonetti-designed wall panels, flooring, pedestals and trompe l’oeil wallpaper, the gallery will feature significant 20th century works including Robert Motherwell’s Summertime in Italy (1967); Simon Hantaï’s monumental Etude (1969); Landscape of the South of France (Paysage du Midi) (1918) by Chaim Soutine; Andy Warhol’s highly saturated portrait Farah Diba (1977); and recent works by contemporary artists Tina Barney, Saint Clair Cemin and Taner Ceylan.
"TEFAF is unquestionably one of the highlights of our year. Its influential Modern and Contemporary presence coupled with the focus on the decorative arts set the stage for our collaboration with Mattia Bonetti,” says Paul Kasmin. “As an art fair it is unparalleled in terms of the quality of works, and accordingly we include only historically important objects in our installation.”
