The Box

Since 2007, The Box has worked to create a program that balances historical artists with those of a younger generation, while also investing in political and experimental practices of the art community. Our goal in organizing historical retrospective exhibitions is to give the public a deeper understanding and richer context of these artists’ work. We encourage the younger artists we show to experiment in their art practices via large installations, events or performance-based works.
