National Maritime Museum

The mission of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk includes protection of cultural and technological maritime heritage carried out by collection and preservation of historical monuments related to boatbuilding, shipbuilding, river and sea navigation, fishery, sailing, military science and maritime education, as well as their promotion and dissemination of information on maritime history of Poland and its economy through the ages.
