The National Gallery

The National Gallery houses Norway's largest public collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures. Foreign works of art will include Greco-Roman sculptures and several paintings by the German artist Lucas Cranach. The Penitent Mary Magdalene by the female Italian artist Artemisia Gentileschi will be one of the featured highlights from the Baroque era.
