Wroclaw Contemporary Museum

The shelter at Strzegomski Square, built in 1942 according to the design by Richard Konwiarz, was constructed on a circular plan with a diameter of about 31 meters. The approximately 25-meter-high building has six floors and no basement. It is a reinforced concrete skeleton structure with a foundation slab about 2.2 meters thick; the walls are about 1.1 meters thick, with floor slabs ranging from 30 cm to 1.5 meters and a roof slab of 2.5 meters.
