Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights

The Museum’s task is to collect, preserve, study, and promote historical-documentary material reflecting the forms, methods, ways and extent of the physical and spiritual genocide suffered by the Lithuanian population from the Soviet occupation regime, and the methods and extent of resistance to the occupation regime, to preserve the memory of the victims of the Soviet genocide and the memory of freedom fighters.
