Moomin Museum

The world’s only Moomin Museum is an experiential art museum for Moomin fans and art lovers of all ages. It presents a rare collection of Moomin art donated to Tampere Art Museum in 1986 by Tove Jansson. The collection was formerly part of Tampere Art Museum’s Moominvalley exhibit from 1987 to 2016 in the ground floor of the Metso Tampere City Library. In 2013, an abridged version was placed on display on the lower ground floor of Tampere Art Museum.
