Galerie Martin Janda

Galerie Martin Janda was founded by Martin Janda as alternative exhibition space in 1992. In the following years, the field of activities was expanded to a gallery. In October 1999 the gallery moved to its present location in Eschenbachgasse 11 in the centre of Vienna. Together with by now five renowned galleries, a new centre of contemporary art and discussion was formed, at close quarters to Wiener Secession, Acadamy of Fine Arts, Kunsthistorisches Museum and Museumsquartier.
