Following her recent London exhibition, Priscilla Rattazzi will present Between worlds in R+V's Milan gallery. Bringing together three bodies of work from across five decades, the exhibition is a reflection upon a lifetime through Rattazzi's lens. The exhibition features Portraits (1975–2023), Hoodoos (natural rock formations in south-west Utah, 2009–19), and Lindens (1991–2021).
The photographs explore themes that are of particular significance to Rattazzi, examining human relationships, and relationships between people and their dogs, while suggesting the increasingly profound reassurance of nature as an eternal point of reference, especially in uncertain times.
R+V's latest catalogue for the exhibition includes an artist's statement and essays by Bettina von Hase and Catherine Fairweather. Designed by Luca Stoppini, the catalogue is presented in a box, paying homage to Rattazzi's roots in analogue photography.
