Winston Wächter Fine Art Seattle is pleased to announce our new exhibition of Ann Gardner’s glass sculptures.
In New Glass Work, Gardner continues her career-spanning experimentations with glass as a transformative material. In a new series of glass clusters, she explores subtle variations in light with assorted articulations of hanging glass orbs, delicately overlapping each other and shifting with the passing daylight. The individual clusters contain bubbling, rippling textures that interact with effervescently soft colors, reorienting their installation spaces as receptacles of lightwaves caught in constant, serene flux.
Ann Gardner has won numerous awards, and her work is included in numerous major collections, including the National Museum of American Art, the American Craft Museum, the Corning Museum of Glass, the Racine Art Museum, the Detroit Institute of the Arts, and the Seattle Art Museum.
