“A Stage”, the first solo exhibition by Keiichiro Muramatsu, originally shown in 2015.
Since 2013, the artist’s work centres on arranging innocent wild flowers simply in cubic or cylindrical vases. This work is a series of variations on the concept of Nageire, the Japanese art of flower arranging which liberates itself from the artificial constraints imposed by Ikebana.
In 2015, following this exhibition, Muramatsu received honorable mentions in the Professional “Nature/Flower” and “Professional Fine Art / Still Life” categories of the International Photography awards.
