From now until 2020, the Kids' Kingdom will be located on the ground floor just past the cloakroom. In the course of the museum's modernisation, the original area on the lower level will be completely redesigned. It will reopen in 2020.

Along with the familiar attractions such as the giant guitar, optics table and the building site with big Lego blocks, there are new stations to explore such as the workshop and the ball track arena.
