The exhibition provides information on the goals of the Federal President's Prize and underscores its special role as an award presented by the president of the Federal Republic of Germany and supported by the sciences and industry.
The permanent exhibition in the Deutsches Museum is a cooperative project of the Office of the Federal President of Germany, the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Endowment Association for German Research) and the Deutsches Museum.
The exhibition tells the story of the 10 most recent award-winning projects, from the initial idea to the implementation stage and explains their economic and social significance of the projects as well as the underlying scientific concepts. The eleventh module, at the centre of the exhibition, offers visitors background information on the prize, all nominated projects since its inception and the previous winners. Large-format photos honour all of the winners' achievements.
