Drawer, painter and printmaker. Studied drawing and painting with Anna Bella Geiger (1933), Aluísio Carvão (1920 – 2001) and Eduardo Sued (1925) at the Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro (MAM–RJ), from 1981 to 1985.
Studied visual communication at the Pontifícia Universidade Católlica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC–RJ), from 1981 onwards. From 1988 to 1989, she took a specialization course at the same university in the History of Brazilian Art and Architecture. From 1990 to 1992, she completed a master's degree in Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York. From 1994 onwards, she has lectured in Drawing and Painting Studio at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage (EAV Parque Lage) in Rio de Janeiro.
Since the 1980s she presented various shows, most importantly the solo shows Desenhos e Pinturas (1998), Aberturas (2006) and Blocos (2013), as well as the group shows Como vai você, Geração 80? (1984), 13 Femmes de Rio (1988), Arte Contemporânea Brasileira (2001), Arte e Patrimônio (2008) and Art in Brazil (2011). She participated in the 5th Mercosul Biennial and presented solo exhibitions at the Paço Imperial do Rio de Janeiro and at the Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo, among other institutions in Brazil and abroad. Her work is in the collection of MAM (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) and of Dulce and João Carlos Figueiredo Ferraz (Ribeirão Preto), among others.
