Miranda Kuo Gallery presents Surface, a group exhibition featuring works by Andrea Lynn Santos and Becca Barolli. Photography, print-making and sculpture converse in this show, drawing attention to what, in art, is the surface, the seen, and what isn’t. Or in the words of Lisa Segal “the line between illusion and material”.

This show features two artists’ interpretation of surfaces and material itself, compelling us to engage with this aspect of material objects.

Much like the famous ‘Flammarion engraving’, depicting a traveler peering through the canopy of stars into the machinery of the universe, Surface invites us to explore the philosophy behind works of art.
