Miller Gallery will be celebrating August’s historic eclipse with a group exhibit.
Charleston is a prime vantage point for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We have invited our roster artists as well as artist friends to create works referencing the solar and astronomical. We will have a limited number of eclipse viewing glasses available for Monday's phenomena, which will last 1 minute and 33 seconds in totality.
1:33 will feature paintings, collage, resin work, and mixed-media sculpture by guest and roster artists. Liv Antonecchia is the mind behind Surface Craft ceramics in Mt. Pleasant. She will be exhibiting wall mounted ceramics while emerging artist, Shane Judge, will continue his recent series of multi-dimensional protective sculptures, which combine metal working and precious gem stones.
Gold leaf and oil paintings by Kate Hooray Osmond will be exhibited alongside dynamic installations by JP Shepard.
