On August 22, 2017, the Casa Nova inaugurates the individual "Expedition" of the German photographer Michael Wesely.
During the year 2003 the artist made an expedition through the north of the country registering the cities and the local landscapes using a camera of long exhibition, trademark of the artist.
Passing through Manaus, Teresina, Maranhão, and other places of the region, the artist captured the passage of time of the urban and rural landscape.
Presented in 2004 at the National Theater of Brasilia, the series compose the artist's first solo show at Casa Nova, which will also be exhibiting at the inauguration of Instituto Moreira Salles on Avenida Paulista and Triennial Frestas in Sesc Sorocaba.
