What will you look like when you’re 80? How active, fit, and independent will you be? How healthy will you be? The choices you make today influence the answers to these questions.
You should take inspiration from the fact that you can create, mold, and craft your own future into your 80’s and beyond by what you eat, what you think about, and how you move your body now. The world is yours, your body is yours, your health is yours, and your mind is yours—but only if you develop the right habits today. That means mental, physical, and emotional habits that will help you reach your full potential.
This is what I do: I study and then assist and teach people how to reach an optimal level of human performance. I show people how to eat healthy foods, I give advice on aging and lifestyle, and I provide tips to help people live longer, healthier, and happier lives.
How to Be the Best Person You Can Be in Your 80’s
• Lifestyle – If you want to be active and healthy in your 80’s, leading a healthy lifestyle now is crucial. You will look better as well. A healthy lifestyle involves getting enough sleep every night, managing stress, keeping a peaceful state of mind, and getting regular exercise.
• Diet – Your diet is crucial to living a healthy lifestyle now and remaining healthy and active when you are older. Make sure your diet is well balanced while also reducing your consumption of sugar and salt.
• Skin care – Two of the most important ways to continue looking young, vibrant, and healthy are to take care of your skin and to use anti-aging treatments. This includes always wearing sunscreen, moisturizing regularly, washing your face free of makeup and the toxins of the day before you go to sleep every night, and exfoliating gently but regularly.
Anti-Aging Treatments
Anti-aging treatments are also incredibly important for maintaining vitality and youthfulness long into old age. One that I am involved with is EMK Skin Care. The products include Seabuckthorn berry, a powerful and effective antioxidant that is still largely unknown in the Western world. It is so effective at reducing the signs of aging and giving you healthier, younger-looking skin that I don’t expect it to remain an ancient skin secret much longer. It’s a natural ingredient that has been used in Eastern countries like Russia, where they have developed products to help protect skin against radiation. It has also been used to treat skin burns, most notably in the wake of the Chernobyl disaster. Seabuckthorn berry is actually believed to be helpful in preventing cancer. It is super rich in Omega fatty acids and there is 12 times more vitamin C in Seabuckthorn berry than there is in an orange. It can be part of your diet and also used on the skin topically for super revitalization.
A Holistic Approach
One thing you will notice from reading so far is that there is no miracle drug or cream that will keep you active for longer while remaining youthful looking. Instead, you need to take a holistic approach that takes into account your whole lifestyle and focuses on your body (particularly your skin), your mind, and your emotional well-being. This is how you will become the optimal you.
