This fun, colour themed show is here to capture the fun, mischievous, debauchery side of Christmas.
We have a wide array of artists on offer in the gallery: from paper sculptures, nature inspired prints, retro pints and interior scenes to decorate your home with mixed media, porcelain, and photography. Everything we have in the show is under £500 which we think is a bargain to find some gems this Christmas to make someone special you know happy as well as your pocket book.
Christopher Rainham uses acrylic on board to paint his birds creating a real sense of stillness with his subject matter caught unaware; these pieces are sure to brighten up any bird lover’s home.
Jane Wilson uses acrylic on top of a restored maps and old music manuscripts gives a wonderful mixed media approach to her work, providing real texture and depth to her pieces.
Charlotte Famer every bodies favourite children’ illustrator is amongst our show with her beautiful animals prancing, dancing and leaping across the page for your attention.
Vicky Oldfield is a collagraph print maker. She uses a variety of materials; newspaper, wire, ink, watercolour, bottle labels, tissue paper and oil pastels. It is then all put in a press template and then re- worked with oil pastels on top of the print later, so each print comes out looking a little bit different in its colour intensity.
Patrick Edgeley, Andy Warhol inspired by his vintage choice of design and bright pop of colour, works in screen print layering each section of colour at a time. His pieces are perfect to brighten up any kitchen or living room area with its funky and personal tribute to different locations around the world.
Anna Harley another Screen Print artist creates beautiful woodland scenes through all times of the year transporting us to another place. Anna travels to Norway, Sweden, and Denmark and around the UK regions to create some beautiful woodland scenes. Anna’s work fills you with nostalgia for that holiday destination you always wanted to go on. Drink up her artwork to transport you their immediately.
Graham Carter our recent new Silk Screen Print artist to join our mists with his quirky, detailed pieces. Graham’s pieces are simple animal designs with many different story lines subtly worked into the piece. Graham isn’t afraid to go there with the glitter either making those bold colourful pieces a perfect Christmas gift this year.
Fabulous Kim Clayton works with paper to create beautifully decorated designs and patterns shows close attention to detail. Her pieces are heart warming fun and perfect to brighten up a spot in the home with some flair and niche beauty.
