To celebrate the 10th edition of The Other Art Fair this October, the fair will be welcoming back Tracey Emin as guest artist. Emin International will be launching two new limited edition prints for The Other Art Fair as well as an exclusive poster available for £50, offering visitors the unmissable opportunity to own an exclusive work by one of Britain’s most influential female artists.

The limited edition prints, Right Here and In My Head, are taken from two gouache paintings made by the artist during this summer and each available in an edition of 50. The £50 poster, But Yea, made exclusively for The Other Art Fair, has been created from Emin’s neon artwork of the same name made in 2005. Each work will be sold and hand signed by the artist at the fair.

Highlight features of the fair include The Green Room. Sponsored by La Fee Absinthe, the room acts as a hidden absinthe bar and art installation. Rebecca Mason’s Neon Health Service Department of Light Therapy and her Confessional Consultants will welcome unsuspecting visitors into this secret and intimate space, lit solely by her neon light artwork and decorated to resemble her own living room. Through an interactive performance she will provide guests with the opportunity to engage with her art, relax with an absinthe cocktail and unburden themselves of their sins. Visitors will be invited to become part of the performance by offering their own confessions in written form, these will then be included in an installation piece of anonymous confessions that will sit outside The Green Room for the public to view.

The Green Room is a ticketed feature and entry into the space will be limited. Advanced booking is strongly recommended. Tickets can be bought online and cost £10.

Artist Gavin Turk’s youth educational charity, The House of Fairy Tales, will be holding an auction to raise funds for their 2016 children’s programme through the creative Matchbox Project. They have invited a number of artists, both emerging and internationally established, to each create their own matchbox artwork for a specially-curated exhibition. Throughout the weekend, these artworks will be offered to collectors through a silent auction with a minimum bid of £40. All visitors are invited to participate in the silent auction, joining art collectors throughout the world through an online promotion.

London First, a new permanent feature for the fair, will present the work of 20 artists who will be exhibiting in London for the first time, including artists from Guatemala and South Korea. In a specially-curated section of the fair, visitors will be able to discover a selection of the most exciting, diverse emerging artists from across the globe.

All food and drink will be catered by Assemble London, the latest venture from Street Feast founder Dominic Cools-Lartigue. In recent years he has helped revolutionise the way people eat out in London with venues like Dalston Yard, Hawker House and Dinerama. Assemble is about taking those experiences further by bringing art, film, music and theatre into the mix.

This 10th edition of The Other Art Fair presents 130 emerging artists from across the globe, hand-picked by Sven Hansen (art collector) and James Birch (dealer/curator), part of this year’s expert selection committee. Alongside the exhibiting artists, the fair will also host an action-packed programme of events to celebrate this special edition.

The Other Art Fair has become a pioneering platform for uncovering new and emerging talents, enabling artists to form direct relationships with potential buyers and launch their careers within the contemporary art world. It has achieved global recognition with fairs not only in its home town of London, but further editions in Sydney and Bristol. The fair will once again share the Old Truman Brewery, in East London, with Moniker Art Fair, in what will be a showcase of independent and established talent all under one roof.
