Lilac Gallery New York is pleased to present “ECLECTIC” a solo exhibition of works by Paul Gerben, from March 12 - 30, 2015. The exhibition will open with a reception on March 12 from 6-8 p.m.

Selecting an eclectic variety of works from Paul Gerben’s contrasting styles, this exhibition showcases a collection of pieces by the artist discovering his unique trajectory. His strong sense of composition and fluid use of natural light creates pieces that range from abstract interpretations of celebrity portraits to beautiful depictions of nature and form, reflecting the raw energy of the urban landscape.

His approach to Mixed Media artwork and strong composition is what sets his work apart from the ordinary. Gerben has a fine art background & studied at Pratt University, RISD, and University of the Arts in center city Philadelphia. Gerben has achieved a fresh and transformed perspective on pop art. His use of color is attractive and inviting, as a soft and filtered technique subdues the vibrancy; manufacturing an entirely messy yet clean and controlled composition.

His consuming passion for art and fine objects has inspired him to create his iconic art style of photography. He has been published in numerous magazines including People, ELLE In Style and E! Entertainment. His works are in many private collections, and most recently he has been commissioned to create custom artwork for celebrities, athletes, luxury homes, offices & restaurants.
