Happiness is an emotion caused by hormonal changes in the brain in response to certain stimuli. These hormones include dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin. Dopamine is released when we experience pleasure or satisfaction. Serotonin is associated with feelings of well-being and calmness. Oxytocin is sometimes called the "love hormone" because it promotes social bonding and interpersonal relationships. It's a complex mix of chemical reactions that, when the equation is solved results in a sense of well-being, calmness, and pleasure.
