A New Yorker since 2013, Dr. Md Gias Uddin is an Assistant Professor in the School of Pharmacy at D’Youville University, Buffalo, New York. He was an Instructor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Appalachian College of Pharmacy in Virginia. He worked as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at the City University of New York (CUNY). Formerly Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He received his PhD in DNA synthesis from Gunma University, Japan (2011) in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology. Accomplished post-doctoral research in structural DNA nanotechnology for three years at New York University (NYU), New York. Accomplished volunteering post-doctoral research in industrial pharmacy at St. John’s University, Queens, New York, focusing synthesis and characterization of Pharmaceutical Co-Crystals towards drug product development.
Very enthusiastic about sharing information with others through writing about something new or topics of common interest. Published about 20 research papers and another 20 articles on contemporary issues in Bengali and English Newspapers and Magazines in Bangladesh, Japan, and the USA.
