Javier Domínguez Rodrigo (Valencia, 1957) is an architect -1980- and “Cum Laude” doctor -1984- by ETSA of Valencia. Mechanical Engineer from the UPV, doctor at Advanced Medieval and Modern History Studies by the UV, Master in Virtual Education and E-Learning by the UNED and lecturer since 1983, has taught at the Polytechnic University of Valencia -EUITI, ETSID, ETSII- and at the Valencia University -ETSE-. Currently he is Professor in the ESET -Architecture- at the Cardenal Herrera University-CEU.
Director of Historic-Artistic Heritage (1998/04) of the Royal Academy of Valencian Culture and member of the Governing Board, he is specialist in rehabilitation and urban planning.
His numerous professional activities include projects such as: interventions at heritage sites (Management Plan for the Palacio del Temple, Monumental catalog of Cullera,…), reutilisation of historic buildings (Lucini Building -Avea 2000 Award for Rehabilitation-, Noguera House, GV12 Offices,…), hotels (Hotel Palau de la Mar -best hotel of the Valencian Community 2006-, Marqués de Caro Palace, Chapa House,…), design of building and public spaces (Eslida Cultural Centre and Plaza Mayor, Bonalba Social Club and Golf, Frax Foundation, RTVE Center in the CV,…), shopping centres (Boulevar Plaza, Xabia Hypermarket,…), single-family homes (Campomanes, Carboni, Velas Blancas, Serranos´Portal, Vacanza,...).
