Paolo Fabiani (Florence, 1968) holds a degree in pedagogy, 2nd level master degree in psychology and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Florence, where he taught Italian language and culture. His principal areas of interest are Vico, Descartes, Malebranche, the art of memory of the Renaissance, imagination, pedagogy and didactics, cognitive psychology and the contemporaries mnemotechnics. His La filosofia dell'immaginazione in Vico e Malebranche was published both in Italian and English by Firenze University Press (FUP), in 2002 and 2009. He has also published 3 books in Italian about mnemotechnics and the conclusive part of the English edition of The History of Italian Philosophy (written by Eugenio Garin, Rodopi, Amsterdam/New York, NY, 2008) titled: With Garin, On Italian Thought from 1943 to 2004 (by Paolo Fabiani and Giorgio Pinton); and several articles and essays (a few of these translated into English, French, and Spanish) in early modern philosophy.
