Ofelia hails from the “Beautiful by Nature” country of Turks & Caicos Islands. She graduated from Niagara University in New York with a major in Psychology. She is currently putting to practice the theories learned in Industrial & Organizational Psychology in the Human Resources Department at Amanyara; one of the top luxury resorts in the Caribbean.

Ofelia was born to a Dominican mother and a Turks Island father. Her experience with the different languages, beliefs and customs of these two nationalities has taught her to appreciate the uniqueness of all cultures. She is convinced that paradise can be found all over the Caribbean, so she is always in search to find the next hidden gem of the West Indies.

She is a lover of nature and all things organic, and believes that true happiness can be found through simplicity. She is new to online publication, and hopes to inspire readers through the knowledge she has gained and will continue to gain through various explorations in life.
