Hello! I’m Eleonora D’Addato, a passionate advocate for sustainability and innovation, with a love for storytelling that’s rooted in my Southern Italian upbringing. Growing up in a modern family, I was always encouraged to explore new ideas and challenge the status quo. This early exposure to innovation and sustainability ignited a lifelong curiosity that has shaped both my personal and professional journey.

From a young age, I was captivated by the power of communication. I loved talking to people, listening to their stories, and sharing ideas that could inspire change. I’ve always believed that communication is about more than just exchanging words; it’s about creating connections that bring us closer, foster understanding, and open our minds to new possibilities. This belief is what ultimately drew me to writing, a medium through which I can weave narratives that inform, inspire, and challenge the status quo.

In 2021, I graduated with top honors in Food Science and Technology, a journey that took me across borders and enriched my perspective on global food systems. The pandemic added its own challenges, but it also taught me resilience and adaptability—qualities that have become central to my work. After graduation, I immersed myself in the world of food tech, working with various startups and large corporations. These experiences were invaluable, offering me a front-row seat to the innovations transforming the industry.

However, it didn’t take long for me to realize that my true calling lay in entrepreneurship. I wanted to create something meaningful, something that aligned with my passion for sustainability. This led me to study digital marketing and eventually co-found a venture capital firm dedicated to supporting green tech startups. This role allows me to channel my entrepreneurial spirit into nurturing ideas that have the potential to shape a more sustainable future.

People often describe me as curious, open-minded, and always up for a challenge. I see myself as a social animal—someone who thrives on human connection and the exchange of ideas. I’m passionate about building networks, fostering relationships, and helping others succeed. These are the values that guide my work, whether I’m supporting sustainable startups or writing articles that explore the intersections of food science, technology, and sustainable fashion.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me indulging in my many hobbies. I’m an avid photographer, capturing the world through my lens in all its beauty and complexity. I adore cats, who bring a little extra joy and mischief to my life. Music is my constant companion, and I’m endlessly fascinated by the latest technological innovations.

Here’s a fun story: I once created an educational video using an avatar that looked just like me. To my surprise, the avatar turned out to be more articulate than I was! It was a lighthearted reminder of how technology continues to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible.

Today, I live in Berlin, a city that perfectly matches my love for culture, innovation, and sustainability.
