Dr. Shilpa Sonawane is a distinguished academic, mentor, and cultural researcher with over 30 years of experience in teaching, training, and counseling across multiple domains, including education, hospitality, IT, and NGOs. Her academic journey is marked by an impressive array of Master's degrees in Fine Arts (Tantra Art), English Literature, Indology, and Gender Studies, reflecting her broad intellectual pursuits. She further advanced her studies by earning a PhD in Cultural Anthropology & Ethnography, with a specialized focus on the diaspora of spirit worship in India and 10 Austroasian countries, where she explored and highlighted cultural similarities in spirit worship practices.

Dr. Shilpa's career is characterized by her deep commitment to societal change and empowerment. As the founder of FluENGcy, a unique training outfit, she has mentored, trained, and counseled over a lakh and a half individuals across various B-Schools in Maharashtra and Punjab. Her expertise in language education, particularly in English, combined with her knowledge of soft, social, behavioral, and life skills, has empowered countless students to excel in their personal and professional lives.

Her contributions to academia are further evidenced by her roles at prestigious institutions such as MIT World Peace University (MITWPU) in Pune and Sir JJ School of Arts in Mumbai. At MITWPU, Dr. Shilpa has been instrumental in shaping future leaders, imparting knowledge across a range of subjects. At Sir JJ School of Arts, she has seamlessly blended her passion for the arts with her communication expertise, guiding students in the realms of brand advertising and communication. Her teaching approach, deeply rooted in experiential learning, ensures that students not only grasp theoretical concepts but also learn to apply them in real-world scenarios.
