I am a proud mother of a beautiful 2-year-old girl, a life lover, and a food and travel writer based in Brighton, UK. My journey to becoming a freelance journalist was far from conventional. It involved a series of unexpected twists and turns, from my humble beginnings in a small town in Hungary to my current role as a writer. This path, though challenging, has shaped my unique perspective and passion for storytelling.

I was born in Hungary and grew up in a tiny town called Gyula, where I enjoyed a vibrant life with my friends. After completing my studies in Budapest, I felt a strong curiosity about the world beyond Hungary's borders. This curiosity led me to make a bold decision-to leave everything behind and embark on a journey of exploration. Two weeks later, I found myself on a plane to London, ready to face the challenges and embrace the opportunities that lay ahead.

My professional journey has been diverse, starting with retail and restaurant jobs, followed by administrative roles. In 2017, I was fortunate to join a prestigious auction house in London. Initially, I was involved in administrative tasks, but in 2018, I seized the opportunity to apply for a more creative, art-related role. This shift allowed me to immerse myself in the world of unique and exciting pieces, sparking a deep love for art and a desire to discover unseen talent.

Living in London opened my eyes to the richness of different cultures and cuisines. I am deeply passionate about learning and experiencing new cultures through travel. The world is a treasure trove of beauty and diversity, and I am grateful for every opportunity to explore it. I am particularly drawn to Japanese traditions and their meticulous attention to detail and respect for rules, which I find fascinating.

Cooking is not just a hobby for me, but a passion that I inherited from my mother, a skilled cook. She primarily taught me about Hungarian cuisine, which I still hold dear. I spend a significant amount of time experimenting with new dishes and recipes, drawing from the knowledge I've accumulated over the years. This culinary journey has also piqued my interest in wine, and while I'm still learning, I enjoy exploring how different wines can enhance the flavours of various dishes.

Fuelled by my lifelong love for travel and cooking, I joined Meer to embark on a new adventure as an author in my favourite subjects. I am excited to share my unique recipes, experiences, and vision of Art, Culture, Food, and wine. My role at Meer allows me to combine my passion for storytelling with my diverse experiences, providing a fresh and engaging perspective on these topics.
