Satvik Singh is a Research Associate at the Centre for Inter-Asian Research (Ahmedabad University), where he is in administrative charge of organizing and facilitating various projects. Before joining CIAR, he served as an Academic Associate for the School of Arts and Sciences' flagship Foundation Programme at the University. His broader research interests include the vast academic enterprise of Narratology and more particularly the time-worn perplexity to make organised sense of the essence of Hinduness and the narratives around Progressivism.
Satvik has an M.A degree from Pandit Deendayal Energy University, specialising in Cultural, Narrative and Gender Studies. He earned his Bachelor in Arts degree from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, specialising in English Literature and Philosophy. His current enterprise includes a post-graduate diploma in folklore and cultural studies.
Satvik dreams of a day when characters from his amorphous musings confront him in quiet corner streets. Frolicking penny stock indices and occasional engagements with vernacular literature are one of the show-stoppers of his afternoon chai sessions at work.
