The new interactive exhibition for families with children aged 1.5–5 years gives little explorers plenty of space for movement and playful experiences, encouraging our youngest visitors to discover the joy of exploration.
Is that a ship or a quiet island? Do I want to operate a crane or drive a real fire engine? There are lots of exciting things to see and try out for little explorers in this exhibition area: Come and join the fun! Slide and push, roll and move, build things and take them apart! In the minTi, children can move around freely and discover a wide range of play opportunities. In addition to trikes and desks on wheels that can be loaded and unloaded, a magnetic wall in the form of a landscape inspires creativity. Soft building blocks can be used to build houses and forts – kids can let their imagination run wild! And if they need a break from all the fun, they can also find a nice place to hide or curl up with a picture book.
The minTi is designed for families with children aged 1.5 years and older who want to explore the Technisches Museum Wien (Vienna Museum of Science and Technology) in an age-appropriate way. This area for small children stimulates their imagination and creativity through a variety of sensory impressions and allows them to explore freely. In this space, the museum’s youngest visitors can get to the bottom of physical and technical principles in a relaxing and child-friendly atmosphere.
