For the third edition of our now famous Bal Veglione, the Opéra de Nice and Stockfish invite you to take a trip back in time to celebrate Carnival! For once in the year, take the opportunity to come dressed in your finest and most original costumes! Let yourself be carried away by an evening where tradition and modernity meet, to the delight of music and party lovers.

From 7pm to 8.30pm. Waltzes by the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice

Get the evening off to a gentle start with the musicians of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice, who will take you back in time. Dress up in your finest costumes, and shine on the Opéra stage!

Tickets at the Opéra: €15 (€5 for under-30s and students).

From 9.30pm. Funky groove. DJ set by Feder

The party continues from 9.30pm to 10.45pm with a ‘funky groove’ atmosphere that will set the scene for a wild end to the evening.

From 11.15pm to 12.45am, you can rock out to the sounds of Feder! In 2015, Hadrien Federiconi (Feder) chose the heady ‘Goodbye’ as his introduction to the audience. Good luck to him, as his 1st single, far from being a farewell, quickly ranked #1 on iTunes in 22 countries and topped the Shazam France chart for 7 weeks in a row (a record for 2015). Since then, Feder has established himself as an essential pillar of the French electro scene.

  • The entire evening takes place at the Opéra de Nice.

  • Play along: come in costume.

  • Please note that there are two separate ticket offices (Opéra and Stockfish). To attend both parts of the evening, you will need to make two separate purchases.

  • The Opéra bar will be open throughout the evening.
