Hashimoto Contemporary celebrates its tenth birthday with a monumental group exhibition that features over fifty contemporary artists who have helped shape the gallery’s trajectory and success this past decade.

With fortuitous beginnings on San Francisco’s Sutter Street in 2014, Hashimoto Contemporary has since gone bi-coastal, opening spaces in New York City (2016), Los Angeles (2021), and relocating the San Francisco gallery to the Minnesota Street Project (2023).

Across these past ten years, we’ve curated over forty art fair presentations worldwide, opened over 250 exhibitions, and worked with hundreds of artists. Bringing together emerging and established artists from across the globe, the 10 year anniversary group exhibition celebrates a decade of exhibitions, publications, and friendships.

Relationship building has underpinned the gallery’s growth, forging decade-long relationships with artists and the communities in which they are located.

Often, the gallery acts as a foundational platform for launching home-grown and overseas emerging talent to new audiences, cultivating artists into established careers. Incorporating artists from all throughout this decade-long journey, the 10 year anniversary group exhibition showcases the eclectic range of artists, styles, mediums, and subject matter in Hashimoto Contemporary’s program with an eye towards the gallery’s future.
