The pursuit of knowledge is a duty bestowed upon humanity. Regardless of background, circumstance, and disposition, the collective “we” have a responsibility to the self to recognize all that we have been blessed with in this world. To accept the path, the first step is to be just with yourself. Knowing, understanding, and applying what you believe in. Values, principles, hopes, dreams, and ambitions are elements that encompass some of the totality of your identity. They are the cornerstone of laying the bricks towards the path you desire to embark on this life journey. For, when you begin to sense that you are losing yourself, it is an indicator that unwelcomed whispers have entered your heart and caused you to forget who you are.
When people preach the colloquial phrase “you do you” or the equally catchy “be all you can be” what is being uttered is a reminder to be just to yourself. To hold on to the understanding of yourself. This understanding will evolve with time and experience, but at its core, you already know that behaving and acting in a good manner is more desirable than the alternative. There will be instances when you are surrounded by hatred, spite, envy, and a barrage of negativity.
The choice is yours to lean into that flow and show them the power of your destructive nature or to approach the nuisances with peace. Diluting their anger so that you can resume spreading goodness in your spirit. It is pointless and redundant for me to tell you who to be. You are fully aware of who you are. Even if the fog residing in your soul creates confusion and unclarity, all I can do is remind you of the blueprint already available.
The signs, the proofs, evidence, lessons, and guidance are here for you. Everything is laid out and available at your fingertips. Should you seek further guidance, the people who share your values, hopes, dreams, aspirations, and ambitions are walking with you. They will always be there for you, especially in moments of deep distress. Again, I urge you to define and articulate what those elements of your identity are and submit to them with the fullest sincerity. Being sincere is a fundamental mindset that will help you hold on to the rope. It will prevent you from failing to be just.
Once you have a firm grasp, the challenges will commence. You will be tested throughout your existence. And with every obstacle, an opportunity for enlightenment will appear at your door. Do not be afraid to let it in, even if the person or opportunity staring right in front of you awakens your senses. A heightened experience that rushes the blood flow and spreads goosebumps on your skin. The fear of growth is real and a sign of better things to come for your soul. Should you fail any trials do not be despaired. You are offered a plethora of chances as a mercy.
Your intuition will strengthen the deeper you venture into accepting who you are. Self-trust is often misinterpreted and frequently, in this day and age, prone to closing the doors for growth. Denying yourself the avenues for exploration is a refusal to interpret your intention. Again, your main purpose is the pursuit of knowledge. To evaluate those that fit your beliefs versus those who don’t. To interact with people who share your values and to guide those who are misguided.
To be aware that the lost are attracted to your just soul and to invite them to walk with you on the path of righteousness and goodness. It would be criminal to your beliefs if you denied people the invitation to experience the blessings that you’ve recognized and adopted. It would be unjust for you and for those around you if you did not share this mind-opening blessing. All roads are a call to the Home of Peace. That is the most desirable path in this life. The choice is yours, so choose with sincerity.
