In Mack’s pegboard paintings and hanging sculptures, the gesture of painting mingles with the materiality of found fabric, blankets and objects. Each element is absorbed into another, transforming the objects’ histories and meanings.
Mack graduated from The Cooper Union in 2010 and received his MFA from Yale University in 2012.
His work has been exhibited in New York at the Studio Museum, Kate Werble Gallery, David Nolan Gallery, Anna Kustera Gallery, Signal Gallery (Brooklyn); and Mason Gross Galleries, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Eric Mack lives and works in New York.
