Thomas Deans Fine Art is pleased to present their popular exhibition that has been a regular feature in the gallery’s calendar for over 25 years.
Summer Pleasures, the annual group exhibition at Thomas Deans Fine Art, features a changing display of paintings, drawings, and sculptures by artists who show with the gallery regularly. As always, the exhibition also includes some surprises.
The artists contributing to the exhibition hail from all over. Among the new works being presented is a special group of paintings by Brooke Major, a Georgia native now living and working in France. Thickly painted in oils, her white-on-white equestrian and architectural paintings are reminiscent of low-relief sculpture. Also featured is a new group of gestural abstract paintings in muted colors by popular Memphis, Tennessee artist Jeri Ledbetter and lively landscape-inspired abstracts by Canadian newcomer Julie Naima.
A number of artists, both abstract and figurative, represent Atlanta, among them Elizabeth Sheppell, Tom Francis, Terri Dilling, Ana Guzman, Evan Jones, Carl Linstrum, Brent Baker, David Kidd, Gwen Wong, Eileen Braun, Lauren Betty, and Jeni Stallings.
