Kantor Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of various works in the Summer Collection of Warhol or Not? The show will be on view at the gallery in June 2023.
A select group of distinguished contemporary visual artists unveiled a dynamic new exhibition. Featuring the work of Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Louis Waldon, Richard Pettibone, Nate Lowman, and Kenny Scharf, the show is a celebration of the ongoing legacies of these influential artists.
Each of the artists featured in the show draws upon their own unique artistic practice and symbolism in modern contemporary art. Viewers will be able to explore the works of Warhol and Haring, two of the most renown artists of the 20th century, as well as works from Waldo, Pettibone, Lowman, and Scharf which extend the legacies of these two giants of the modern art movement.
The exhibition, displayed at Kantor LA, seeks to shed light on the interconnectivity of these artists' practices and how their ingrained aesthetic identity and techniques have shaped and evolved the history of modern art.
