Barnaby Furnas adds painterly strokes and hand-finishing to historically and politically imbued aquatints. The Whalers is part of a series based on an interpretation of Melville's Moby-Dick.
Wangechi Mutu, who is currently the subject of a solo exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, draws inspiration from science fiction, cultural imagery and the female body to create uniquely collaged editions, such as Second Born.
