In Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulcher once per year during the celebration of Christian Easter an inspiring service of paramount importance takes place. It is a church located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem dating back to the fourth century. The church is also known as the Church of the Anastasis ('Resurrection') contains the two of the holiest sites in Christianity: Golgotha or Calvary the site where Jesus was crucified and the place, where Christians believe Jesus has been buried and resurrected.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarch through very specific religious procedures succeeds in arising remarkably the Holy Light from the tomb of Jesus. Initially light blue light spreads gradually growing in strength turns like a whirlwind taking the form of a solar Disc and rests- hovers above the patriarch’s head. It fills the entire Temple giving the impression of camera flashes overheads and between the congregation. Candles instantaneously light miraculously by themselves.

The Ark contained the Ten Commandments that God had directed toward Moses on Mount Sinai while he was leading the Israelites out of Egypt. It was at Mount Sinai, according to the book of Exodus, where God is believed to have communicated with Moses. It was in this encounter that God spoke to him for the first time and gave him the Ten Commandments.

The Arc of Covenant contained two tables of stone and was covered from view by the Mercy Seat. We know from historical descriptions that each time Moses entered a tent containing the Arc to speak with the Lord impressive effects occurred. A column of clouds during the day or a column of fire at night appeared and was regarded as one of the impressive manifestations of His presence. The biblical texts assign to the Ark many functions and powers, in various details. This led researchers to regard the representation of the Ark through the Bible as the result of theological reinterpretation as well as historical development.

Remarkable and admired indeed series of events, but also mysterious and unexplained reminding us someway and somehow the Christian ceremony in the Church of Resurrection.

But where the Ark comes from? From Egypt, according to some sources. Egyptians in their rituals and also in their mythological tradition, the use of objects like the sacred bark may give some clues and similarities with the ark.

Indeed, we hypothesize and evaluate for the Ark of the Covenant its possible Egyptian inheritance since the biblical accounts surrounding the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt support this hypothesis. Its principal role had to do with communication with God. It also served as a vehicle for priestly functions. As regards the Israelites, it probably served as a more than the symbolic presence of the Lord.

Holy light and Arc of the covenant. Miraculous indeed effects with a great similarity between them.

Is there something in common between them? An answer is needed.

According to Jewish tradition, the Temple Mount is the place where God created Adam from dust. Also is the place where Abraham built the altar upon which God asked his son to be sacrificed as proof of his faith. We read in the Bible that King Solomon built the First Temple circa 1000 B.C. But 400 years later, the temple was destroyed by the Babylonian armies commanded by King Nebuchadnezzar.

But the leaders did not remain idle because, in the first century BC, Herod extended and renovated a Second Temple.

We must also have in our mind that Jerusalem was occupied or conquered by a long succession of peoples such as Jebusites, Israelites, Babylonians, Greeks, Persians, Romans, Byzantines, early Muslims, Crusaders, Mamluks, Ottomans, and the British.

But the real question is: where is the Arc now? Our intuition proposes a protection mechanism for the Arc designed by priests and rulers, which was activated because of the upcoming Babylonian catastrophe.

So most likely, the Ark was secretly relocated. Probably to the most unsuspected location. Under Golgotha. At the end of a secret closed tunnel connecting the Temple to Golgotha. And is now there perhaps still producing miraculous results. But the mystery must be anyway solved.

To do this, we must first solve a religious puzzle connected with the disappearance of the Ark of the Covenant as the passage of the Holy Secret and the Jewish succession. Orthodoxy's role must also be examined. And many more. And then it will be perhaps possible to get the answers.

But in the meantime, archeology will lead the search. This search has a unique name. “In quest of the Tunnel”. The question that arises is the following: are there tunnels beneath Jerusalem? The answer is yes, there are the most popular underground spaces in Jerusalem being "the tunnels of the western wall". But this is not enough for the quest.

Finally, we have to take into account that Moses began at Mount Sinai and Isaac Newton 1,000 years later reminded us. The bible is codified.
